Biostatistics

The Biostatistics department’s programs and courses are also designed to give investigators in medical and public health professions a solid foundation in biostatistics that will help them conduct research in their areas of expertise.

Clinical and Health Psychology

The department of Clinical and Health Psychology offers two APA approved education and training programs: a doctoral program in clinical psychology and a clinical psychology pre-doctoral internship. In addition, the department provides a variety of continuing education experiences and post-doctoral training opportunities

Environmental and Global Health

The department of Environmental and Global Health prepares students to tackle existing and emerging environmental health issues through transdisciplinary coursework and hands-on research training in laboratory and field settings. 

Epidemiology

The department of Epidemiology provides four exceptional programs for individuals interested in pursuing a career in epidemiology. These programs include a Doctorate in Epidemiology, a Master of Science in Epidemiology, a Master in Public Health, Epidemiology Concentration, and a Certificate in Psychiatric Epidemiology.

Health Services Research, Management and Policy

We educate and empower our students to advance health services research and make a difference in their roles as future healthcare leaders.

Occupational Therapy

The department of Occupational Therapy prepares future and current occupational therapists and other rehabilitation professionals to translate evidence that informs practice, affects health and community systems, and meets the occupational needs of people, organizations and populations. 

Physical Therapy

The entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program provides the required education necessary for graduates to take the professional license examination and embark on a professional career in physical therapy.

Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences

The department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences is focused on preserving, promoting and improving the health and well-being of populations and individuals. The department offers four degree programs at the bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels, as well as a post-baccalaureate certificate.

Health Science

The Health Science major is the first step toward a career in the rewarding field of healthcare. Students learn to think critically about various individual and public health issues and gain knowledge in the health care system, human disease and disability, leadership, and patient communication. 

Public Health

Our public health programs equip students with interdisciplinary knowledge and skills to prevent disease, promote health equity, and address complex health challenges through research, policy, and community engagement.

Rehabilitation Science

The mission of the Rehabilitation Science PhD (RSD) Program at the University of Florida follows the mission of the College of Public Health and Health Professions. Our specific mission is to educate future investigators in the area of rehabilitation science. 

Social and Behavioral Sciences

Through our Social and Behavioral Sciences programs, students will explore the unique issues faced by diverse groups and populations and acquire skills to achieve social and behavioral change.
