Public Health, PhD

At the College of Public Health and Health Professions, our faculty are working to address some of the greatest health challenges of our time, including mitigating the impact of chronic diseases, tracking and preventing the spread of infectious diseases, and understanding the impact of human and animals on the environment. Doctoral students have the opportunity to work alongside internationally-recognized faculty, and to build connections with faculty across the UF academic health center colleges as well as the more than 200 research, service and education centers, bureaus and institutes located at UF. The College of Public Health and Health Professions is home to eight federally-funded training programs, which provide specialized curriculum, experiences and mentoring to prepare graduate and postdoctoral associates for careers in research.
