Online student experience
Students who wish to enroll as an M.H.S. student online can view lectures and access course material online at any time through Canvas (the University of Florida’s e-learning site), while complying with due dates and expectations of individual professors.
Upon acceptance, our M.H.S. online students will be invited to our annual new-student orientation alongside our traditional students. Students will be assigned a faculty advisor for any questions they may have about their academic schedule, career paths, or other relevant concerns.
A key question on many of our online student’s minds is how they will complete the capstone experience. The capstone can be completed at an appropriate agency, department or organization near a student’s primary residence or at another entity approved by their faculty advisor and academic staff.

Few programs in the U.S. take such an interdisciplinary approach by combining human health science with environmental science. Additionally, UF offers a flexible, online, part-time platform that allows me to continue working while earning my advanced degree.
