Applied brain science
The Applied Brain Science minor provides foundational knowledge and skills appropriate for students who are seeking a career in neuroscience and/or neuropsychology.
Communication sciences and disorders
The Communication Sciences and Disorders minor provides students with a foundation in the anatomy and physiology of the speech and hearing mechanism.
Deaf and hearing sciences
The Deaf and Hearing Sciences minor includes language classes in American Sign Language and classes to deepen awareness of the impact of hearing loss on everyday life and function.
Public health
This Public Health minor enables students to acquire public health knowledge that complements their career paths.
Health administration
The Health Administration minor teaches students the fundamentals of health administration in preparation for a career or advanced degree in the health industry.
Health professions
The Health Professions Minor provides foundational knowledge and skills in the changing healthcare delivery system.
Rehabilitation
The Rehabilitation minor provides a basic scientific foundation to understand the impact of disability on physical and psychosocial health.
Combination degree programs
COMBINATION DEGREE
Bachelor’s/Master of Public Health
Combination degree program that accepts UF undergraduate students into the Master of Public Health program where they earn 15 credits toward their M.P.H. degree.
COMBINATION DEGREE
BHS/Occupational Therapy Doctorate
Combination degree program that allows incoming Bachelor of Health Science juniors to take first-year Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) Program courses during their junior and senior years.
Combination Degree
Bachelor’s/Master of Biostatistics
The bachelor’s/M.S. Biostatistics program allows qualified students to earn a bachelor’s degree from any degree program at UF and a Master of Science degree in biostatistics with 12 credit hours of graduate coursework counting toward both degrees.
