Transfer applicants must complete the University of Florida Transfer Admissions application. In addition to the courses specified below, all transfer applicants applying from public Florida postsecondary institutions must earn an AA degree to be eligible for any major in the College of Public Health and Health Professions.
- Students with more than 90 credits earned from a 4-year university and/or applying from a non-Florida state/public college are generally not considered competitive applicants. We encourage you to apply for the major you intend to complete as we do not allow major changes within our college for transfer students (e.g., a transfer student admitted to Public Health cannot change their major to Health Science).
Deadline
Because of the application deadline, please note that we evaluate your overall and prerequisite GPA based on grades received through the previous fall semester.
Final Deadline: February 15, 2026
- All majors will receive a decision by April 1, 2026.
- We highly recommend that students on a pre-medicine, pre-physician assistant, pre-dental, pre-anesthesiology assistant pathway apply for the Summer B term.
