MPH Student Opioid Training
March 31 12-1pm
This program provides an in-depth overview of opioid misuse, examining trends in overdose deaths over the past 20 years in both the U.S. and Florida. Participants will learn about the effects of opioids on the brain and body, risk factors, and signs of misuse, as well as screening and assessment tools. The training also covers co-occurring disorders, evidence-based treatment options, and available resources for referral and support.
