PHHP Distinguished Scholar Lecture Series

Dr. Donna Petersen will present “Framing the Future: From National Debate to Local Action” on Wednesday, Feb. 4 at 4 p.m. in Communicore, room C1-9.

Dr. Thomas A. LaVeist, will present “Explaining Health Disparities: Place is more important than race, but race matters, too” on Wednesday, Feb. 19 at 4 p.m. at the McKnight Brain Institute, DeWeese Auditorium.

Dr. Norman Sartorius will present “Public health efforts to fight the stigma of mental disorders” on Monday, Jan. 28 from 4 to 5 p.m. in the HPNP Complex, room G101.

Dr. Adewale Troutman, director of public health practice and leadership at the University of South Florida, will present “Creating Health Equity: More Than an Apple a Day and a Walk in the Park” on Wednesday, Mar. 21 from 4 to 5 p.m. in the HPNP Complex, room G101.

Harvard researcher Dr. Lisa I. Iezzoni will present “Eliminating Health Care Disparities for Persons with Disabilities” on Wednesday, Jan. 25 from 4 to 5 p.m. in the HPNP Complex, room G101.
