Dr. Sherrilene Classen will lead two six-hour pre-conference institutes on March 20 as part of the American Occupational Therapy Association, or AOTA, INSPIRE 2024 Annual Conference & Expo in Orlando, Florida.

Several University of Florida College of Public Health and Health Professions faculty were recognized with honors, awards and appointments in 2023.
Faculty members have discovered that Occupational Therapy Equal Access Clinic student volunteers have carried their experiences into the classroom as peer leaders, translating real-world experiences into mentorship and guidance for fellow students as they seek answers to complex problems using clinical judgement.
The department’s 2023 graduation event included capstone poster presentation sessions, professional networking and a career fair, as well as pinning, awards and white coat ceremonies.
