Information for current PHHP students
PHHP Advisors meet with the following students during drop-in sessions:
- First and second year PHHP majors
- Third year Health Science and Public Health majors
- UF students considering a PHHP minor
Please note: advisors do not conduct major changes during drop-in sessions. To inquire about changing to a PHHP major, please send an email to advising@phhp.ufl.edu and an advisor will assist with next steps.
Zoom Drop-Ins
Zoom Drop-Ins are brief meetings (15 minutes or less) so advisors may assist as many UF students as possible before advance registration. Zoom Drop-Ins are intended for items such as:
- Summer and Fall 2025 registration concerns
- Questions about minors
- Forms
Zoom Drop-In Schedule:
Tuesday, March 11th from 9-11 a.m. and 2 – 4 p.m. and Wednesday, March 12th to Friday, March 14th from 9-noon only.
Instructions for joining
To see an advisor during Zoom Drop-Ins, you must first sign into the PHHP Advising Lobby to access our Zoom Waiting Room link which will then add you to the queue. Advisors will only see students that login to the lobby and are in the queue.
1. Sign into the PHHP Advising Lobby with your UF credentials to connect to the advising queue.
2. Click on the Zoom link provided when prompted by the blue box. The box will appear immediately after signing into the lobby.
3. Completing steps 1 and 2 holds your place in the queue so sit tight! An advisor will soon be with you.
Information for Non-PHHP Students
PHHP Advisors are not meeting with the following students:
- Current UF students considering a change of major into PHHP
- Advisors do not conduct major changes during drop-in sessions. To change your major to PHHP, please send an email to advising@phhp.ufl.edu and an advisor will assist with next steps.
- Non-UF students
- Due to the volume of student inquiries, drop-ins are for current UF students only. Non-UF students who have questions about our undergraduate programs should email advising@phhp.ufl.edu.
