About Federico Pozzi
Dr. Federico Pozzi is a physical therapist and rehabilitation scientist who leads the Musculoskeletal Injury and Outcome Lab. His work focuses on why people with the same injury recover differently and how to personalize treatment for musculoskeletal pain. His NIH‑funded research spans nervous system mechanisms, advanced MRI tools, and innovative rehab strategies. He is also committed to training future leaders in rehabilitation science, with a strong track record of mentoring trainees who secure competitive funding, earn national recognition, and disseminate their work with high impact.
