About Heidi Horwitz
Heidi Horwitz is Clinical Assistant Professor and Academic Fieldwork Coordinator in the Department of Occupational Therapy. Dr. Horwitz has an MA in occupational therapy from New York University and an OTD from Mount Mary University. She also holds an MEd from the University of Florida, specializing in infant and toddler special education. Her clinical practice experience includes early intervention, school systems, outpatient, home health care and skilled nursing facilities. Dr. Horwitz has 10 years’ experience as a fieldwork educator with the focus of her doctoral project on fieldwork educators’ clinical reasoning skills.
