Not all videos are created the same. Nor should they be! To get your video content to the right audience, in the right way, and on the right channel, we’ve put together a list of the various video types, their distribution channels, and the available resources, so you know exactly whom to turn to.
Instructional Videos
PHHP’s instructional design team can produce instructional videos for your courses, with MyMediasite as the recommended storage platform. To work with the instructional design team, fill out this form. Additionally, you can request captioning services for instructional videos here.
Recorded Seminars & Events
Event recordings can be hosted with an unlisted link on PHHP’s official YouTube channel. Send both video and audio files, along with a caption file, to social@phhp.ufl.edu. UF Dropbox or OneDrive can also be used for secure storage. To meet ADA requirements for accessibility, all videos must be captioned.
Marketing Videos
The college’s marketing & communications team can assist with promotional videos (e.g. promoting a degree program, interviewing students, showcasing research, etc.). These are videos that are intended to be shared on the website and/or social media. We can help create a strategy based on your intended audience, objective, and deadline. Submit video requests to us early for guidance and access to necessary resources. Video requests can be sent using the form below.
