If you are a currently enrolled student at UF, click Currently Enrolled App. If you are not a current UF student, click New Student Application. This application is required to be considered for admission to the UF Graduate Certificate in Public Health program.

STEP 2: Complete the Public Health Departmental Application
This application informs the department of your intention to apply and initiates the application review process. This application is required to be considered for admission to the UF Graduate Certificate in Public Health program.
Application Instructions
All applicants applying for the UF Graduate Certificate in Public Health must complete the UF Graduate Certificate application AND the Public Health Departmental Application.

- Statement of Purpose An essay approximately one page in length that explains your pertinent experiences, motivation for applying, and expected outcomes from earning a Graduate Certificate in Public Health.
- Resume or CV
- Letter of Support or Recommendation Can be academic or professional.
Application Deadlines
- Fall admission (Campus and Online) – July 1st. Decisions will be released by July 14th.
- Spring admission (Campus and Online) – Decisions will be released by November 30th.
- November 1st: International applicant deadline.
- November 15th: Domestic applicant deadline.
- Summer admission (ONLINE ONLY) – Decisions will be released by March 31st.
- March 1st: International applicant deadline.
- March 15th: Domestic applicant deadline.
For International Students Only
International students cannot complete a campus-based Certificate in Public Health as a standalone program. They can, however, complete an online Certificate in Public Health from their home country.
Arrange to have official TOEFL, IELTS or MELAB scores sent to the Office of Graduate Admissions. If your degree is from a country outside the US, please complete the following:
- Arrange to have official English Language Exam (TOEFL, IELTS or MELAB) scores sent to the Office of Graduate Admissions, unless exempt.
- Upload transcripts (in both the native language and an English translation) and degree certificate(s). (Originals will not be returned to you.)
- Send original documentation, copies CANNOT be accepted for admission
