Overview

The Healthcare Management certificate is designed for professionals and graduate-level students seeking to develop core competencies in the administration and leadership of healthcare organizations. Delivered in a hybrid format (in-person and online), the certificate emphasizes foundational knowledge in the US Healthcare system, organizational management and healthcare finance, equipping students with essential skills to succeed in today’s complex healthcare environment.

This certificate enhances the capabilities of professionals in health administration, public health, clinical practice and related fields by providing them with tools to effectively manage people, resources and systems and those looking to enter the healthcare management profession or an M.H.A. program. Through a combination of foundational and applied coursework, students acquire the managerial, financial and analytical skills necessary to improve organizational effectiveness and patient care delivery.

The Healthcare Management certificate can be completed in two academic semesters. A new cohort begins every Fall semester.
