Meet: Ella Dinkins

Program: Master of Health Science in One Health

Hometown: Lawtey, Florida

Educational background: Bachelor’s in Family, Youth and Community Sciences from UF CALS

Why did you decide to join your program?

My current work allows me to provide members of my community with education and resources to help them improve their overall health and well-being. I chose the Master of Health Science program largely because of its interdisciplinary approach to health issues, which I believe will be beneficial to me in improving my ability to serve my clients.

What do you plan to do with your degree?

I am excited about increasing my knowledge of health issues and building my skills to work on developing solutions for those issues through this program. I intend to use the knowledge and skills I gain through the Health Science program to continue to positively impact the community in which I live and work.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Spend time with friends and family (and my dog!), read, and play the piano.
