Jaewon Kang, (Ph.D. – Rehabilitation Science ‘23) completed postdoctoral training at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and joined Colorado State University as an assistant professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy. In her first year as faculty, she received the highly competitive Intervention Research Grant from the American Occupational Therapy Foundation, one of the most distinguished awards for early-career researchers.
Her research builds on her RSD dissertation, improving access to home safety evaluations through 3D modeling for remote assessments and enabling timely interventions for individuals in rural and remote areas. Congratulations, Jaewon!
