Briefly describe your research area

My research focuses on understanding and improving the teleassessment of gait and balance in older adults at home, aiming to enhance healthcare accessibility and advance the practice of telerehabilitation.

What do you like best about living in Gainesville, Florida?

Gainesville is ideally located in North Florida, offering easy access to natural attractions like springs and state parks making it the perfect escape from city life and a place to fully immerse yourself in nature.

What things do you like to do outside of the program?

Exploring nature like going to Fanning or Manatee Springs, Cycling

What is your favorite place?

All the Springs-especially Manatee springs and Ichetucknee springs, the museum with butterflies in Gainesville.

What has been the most rewarding part of your PhD journey so far?

I have made many connections, community, and friends during this journey. I also met my partner whom I love and also met Bubb, my cat during the program.
