Linda Struckmeyer, Ph.D., OTR/L, a clinical associate professor and doctoral capstone coordinator in the department of occupational therapy, received the Fellow of the American Occupational Therapy Association, or FAOTA, award, at the INSPIRE annual conference, March 21-23, in Orlando. This award is designed to recognize occupational therapists who through their knowledge, expertise, leadership, advocacy, and/or guidance, have made a significant contribution over time to the profession with a measured impact on consumers of occupational therapy services and/or members of the association.

The American Occupational Therapy Association, or AOTA, represents more than 230,000 occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants and occupational therapy students in the United States and beyond, to advance occupational therapy practice, education and research.
