Sarah Westen, Ph.D., a clinical assistant professor in the department of clinical and health psychology, is an invited speaker at the American Diabetes Association (ADA) 2024 Clinical Update Conference, which will be held in Orlando, Florida, February 2-4. Leaders in diabetes care from around the world will attend to learn about changing paradigms in diabetes and practical perspectives on the 2024 standards of care. Westen will speak on implementation of the ADA’s newly released 2024 Standards of Care in Diabetes, and showcase a video project on strategies to improve patient-centered care in the clinic setting.
