University of Florida Audiology Students Attend Pediatric Audiology Translational Research Conference

PAT conference

Three outstanding Audiology students from the University of Florida traveled to Omaha, Nebraska this summer to attend the Pediatric Audiology Translational Research Conference. Sarah Bridges, Amber Gerasimchik, and Lakynn Hillhouse attended sessions on a variety of topics, including Incorporating High-Frequency Auditory Brainstem Response Testing into Clinical Test Protocols and Speech Perception in Children with Down Syndrome.

The conference was a great opportunity for the students to learn about the latest research in pediatric audiology and to network with other professionals in the field. They were also able to present their own research on the topic of Auditory Processing Disorder.

The students are grateful for the opportunity to attend the conference and are excited to use what they learned to improve the lives of children with hearing loss.
