FPHA Mental Health Training a Success!

On Thursday December 5th, the Florida Public Health Association (FPHA) hosted a Mental Health Training at the UF College of Public Health and Health Professions reception hall. This training covered how community-based health mental health and substance abuse treatment systems work, presented by community leaders working at the local, regional, and state level in mental health. Presenters included our own professor Dr. Mark Hart presenting Trauma Informed Care, along with other established individuals.

Over 45 individuals were in attendance made up of mental health workers, community leaders, and public health students from the Northern Central Florida region. Below you can find more photos from the event.
