In memoriam: Miriam Cadelinia

A message from Dean Michael G. Perri:

Miriam Cadelinia

“Dear Colleagues,

We are very sad to report the passing of Miriam Cadelinia who lost her battle with cancer. Miriam died peacefully yesterday evening (July 14) surrounded by family. She joined the University of Florida and the College of Public Health and Health Professions Dean’s Office in February 2017 as Administrative Support Assistant II. Throughout her time with the Dean’s Office, Miriam touched the lives of many faculty, staff, and visitors to the College. She was a very special person, a dedicated employee, and will be missed by her friends and coworkers.”

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 20 at Olivet Memorial Park in Colma, California. In lieu of flowers, her family asks that donations be made “In Memory of Miriam C. Cadelinia” to either of the following organizations which made her happy while she lived in Gainesville: Humane Society of North Central Florida or University of Florida Performing Arts.
