PhD student, Ryan Suk finalist for Lee B. Lusted Award

Ryan Suk, MS, a second year PhD student, was a finalist for the Lee B. Lusted Award for her poster, “Predicting the Impact of Continued Tobacco Use and Timing of Smoking Cessation among Head and Neck Cancer Patients in the US,” at the Annual Society of Medical Decision Making meeting. The 39th annual North American meeting was held in Pittsburgh, PA last month. The main interest of this society is to develop and provide training in decision science, mathematical modelling, health economics, evidence-based medicine, etc.  The conference consists of short courses for training, presentations of original research, interest group seminars and mentoring sessions. Congrats Ryan!
