Ali Messenger becomes first EGH PhD graduate!

Ali Messenger (left) graduated with her PhD in Public Health on Friday August 9th 2013.  She is among the first PhD students to perform her PhD work in the Emerging Pathogens Institute.  Ali was mentored by Professor Dana Focks (right) and Assistant Professor Bernard Okech in studying dengue disease in Florida.  Both  faculty members are housed in the Department of Environmental and Global Health, College of Public Health and Health Professions.  Ali is the first PhD graduate from the department. Congratulations Ali!
