Ali Messenger becomes first EGH Ph.D. graduate!

Ali Messenger (left) graduated with her Ph.D. in Public Health on Friday August 9th 2013.  She is among the first Ph.D. students to perform her Ph.D. work in the Emerging Pathogens Institute.  Ali was mentored by Professor Dana Focks (right) and Assistant Professor Bernard Okech in studying dengue disease in Florida.  Both  faculty members are housed in the Department of Environmental and Global Health, College of Public Health and Health Professions.  Ali is the first Ph.D. graduate from the department. Congratulations Ali!
