Marissa Valentine, Environmental Health MPH student, wins award at Public Health Day

Marissa Valentine recently presented the poster from her thesis project titled “Where’s the Oil? Shortcomings of the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill Response Data” at the College of Public Health and Health Professions’ Public Health Day.  Valentine’s poster was named the Most Public Health Significant poster among all graduating students in the Master of Public Health program at the University of Florida. Valentine will receive her Master of Public Health degree with a concentration in environmental health this spring. Click here to read Valentine’s abstract.
