Dr. Melanie Correll speaks at EGH ‘Show Us Your Data’ luncheon

Dr. Melanie Correll, Associate Professor for the Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (IFAS) Agricultural and Biological Engineering Department, presented her research to EGH faculty members at the EGH ‘Show Us Your Data’ luncheon on Friday, September 2, 2011. Dr. Correll is currently leading projects with the Florida Space Grant Consortium, the National Science Foundation, and NASA involving greenhouses on Mars and plant growth in space.  Dr. Correll specializes in light and gravity effects on plant growth and development, plant-space biology, gene expression patterns in roots and plant bioreactors.
