It’s that time of year – National Public Health Week! The UF Public Health Student Association has planned a fun-filled week to educate students and the public about the contributions of public health to our communities. This year’s theme is “Safety is No Accident: Live Injury Free!” Each day will focus on a different aspect of public safety.
Monday: Safety at Home

Tuesday: Safety at Work

- The UF Public Health Student Association will be tabling from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Learn about:
– How to keep the pounds off safely with exercise tips
– Florida bike laws to keep in mind when travelling in this lovely weather
– Sunscreen tips when celebrating the end of the spring semester poolside

Thursday: Safety on the Go
- PHSA is sponsoring a special seminar: Safety on the Move

Friday: Safety in the Community
- PHSA will be tabling outside student services in the HPNP Complex promoting neighborhood watch and preventing youth violence
- Additionally, all second year MPH students will be presenting their final projects at various times throughout the day.
