UF National Public Health Week events

April 7-12, 2014

It’s that time of year – National Public Health Week! The UF Public Health Student Association has planned a fun-filled week to engage and excite students and the community. Through these events, PHSA hopes to educate about major public health issues as well as influence and improve overall health in the community.

Monday, April 7
Public Health Week Kickoff
12:40 p.m. at the courtyard between the HPNP Complex and the Communicore Building

Tuesday, April 8
Zumbathon benefiting Peaceful Paths Domestic Abuse Network
Rescheduled due to weather: Tuesday, April 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Broward Courts on UF’s campus

Wednesday, April 9
PHHP Research Day
8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the HPNP Complex

Thursday, April 10
Public Health Heroes Award Ceremony

Friday, April 11
Public Health Student Expo
9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the courtyard between the HPNP Complex and the Communicore Building

Saturday, April 12
Public Health Community Expo
10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Library Partnership, 1130 NE 16th Ave, Gainesville
